So I have been in GA for work since last Monday. Work is keeping me busy which is GREAT but I have been sleeping like crap at the hotel so the week has felt longer than usual. We are kind of on track with the work we had planned to get done last week, we just had to do some extra work which wasn't in the scope.
Friday afternoon I took the MARTA from the airport to the stop were I met Cindy and she picked me up. Once we got back to the house it was back to work. Definitely getting over time this week :)
After some hotdogs with Aunt Cindy, Uncle Eric and Kristen we headed to Ron's soccer game where he played a full game as goalie. Sadly the final score was a tie 2-2.
Today was a low key morning, got to sleep in which was nice (I was wide awake by 8 and so I decided to start my day). I just watched TV for a couple hours and just being lazy, which felt AMAZING. Around lunch time Aunt Cindy, Uncle Eric and I headed to their marina to take their boat out of the water and then head to the Southern Sailing Club house for a chili cookout. While we were there we met up with some of their friends and had my 1st five guys burger (man was that burger amazing i could only eat half). The friend decided to come along to the chili cook off and they offered us to hop on their boat and go over - rather than drive.
Let me tell you, their boat is so nice and spacious. I fell in love. At the cookout there was 18 different chili's people made. I only could try 4 of them.
In a nutshell today was an awesome day fulled with beer and boats and chili... oh my?!

Date Night :-)
Tonight was another date night. We were finally going to use the Falcons hockey game vouchers my parents gave us for Christmas. I had the whole day figured out... or so I thought...
My plans were to help Thiago out with his work and then we would have lunch and just chill until it was time to head to the game. Well some of those plans went down the drain when Thiago decided to jump on the bed.... The end result:
... Yes he broke our bed frame. After I showered, I call Mr. Fix it Bo-bo (my dad). So Thiago had to go off to work by himself while I went to my parents house and my dad and I spend sometime in his workshop. As soon and I got to their house he has everything he thought he would need to fix the bed. Thanks to him we didn't have to buy anything (as of right now, the bed will have to wait 2 weeks until we both are in the bed, That's the REAL test).
Within an hour my dad had taken the remaining wood off to hold the cross slots, glued the pieces that broke off and re in forced the the wood with more screws and wood glue.
The bed surgery
Once the bed was done and I brought it home, Thiago and I continued our plans. We went to cracker barrel for lunch then to Hadley so he would work.
Then it was off to the hockey game :) Like last night they won in OT 5-4. They played the Worcester Sharks. They won by luck I say... the Sharks played much better.
Within the first couple minutes, the Falcon's best player and fighter was out of the game due to fighting.. haha figures. The end result is in the photo, Shark player injured and out of the game, bad shoulder.
I <3 date nights :) I wish we could have them more often.

Friday night hockey night...
Friday has finally arrived. It's been a LONG week between work and being told we need to move out my May 1st, it's been stressful. Well I think at least.
My parents picked up 2 hockey tickets for Marissa and I go join them at the Falcon's vs the Manchester Monarch's. It was a GREAT game, the falcon's played a great game. As always the fights are my favorite part.
The game went into to OT when the score was 4 to 4. The falcon's pulled through and won 5 to 4. It was a great game and they have the best they have in the last couple games.
The Falcons won :)

So long Mass....
So long Massachusetts....
Today we got told get we had move out of here by May 1st. This was totally the push we needed to get out of this "wonderful" place that we rent. We feel today was a blessing in a way rather than a curse. Now we can hopefully make the move down south like we have wanted for a while now...
We are looking at TN and NC but more likely NC. Hopefully work will help with the moving since we will be to be closer to a bigger airport... we will see.
Just trying to look at this in a positive way.

Oh the joys of renting...
Everything seems to be breaking in our place. I can't wait to move. I know I always say it but it is getting old. Rent just went up $25/person as of March 1st which really stinks. The rent we pay is still MUCH cheaper than if we lived in a 2 bed room apartment and we are saving money which is a huge help :)
So the new "broken" object in the house is our kitchen faucet. It has been lose for a long time but this time the handle came off when I was doing dishes this morning. You can put it back on but it doesn't have the screw anymore so it will just keep falling off. Probably like 4 months ago I mentioned it to Mary and she said she would fix it.. haha ya another about renting for someone you are friends with, things take forever to get fixed. I dunno what is worse renting from a friend or a dick head lol..
Luckily we can put the handle back on but without the screw it comes off easily.

Keurig
The new Keurig has arrive. It was wonderful :) I am so glad we have it back, it's so much easier than making a pot of coffee just for 1 person.
I am sad since I really shouldn't and can't drink coffee I had to buy Cafe Mocha because I wanted to use it. Next kind I will buy is Hot Chocolate. I am now addicted again.

On the road again
I am back on the road for work. I am back in LaGrange Ga. Once again back to the wireless installation. Things are going good, still kind of slow and we have to do installs out of order because what they told us was not true, not all the wiring is complete. There is no way we will get 200 Access Points installed but the end of the week and also all the testing. Another on going project but I can't complain.
It feels good to be back on the road again, I needed a change of scenery from my "office". Instead of snow I get to deal with rain, which I would take over any day of snow. Don't get me wrong snow is pretty but being hit by storm after storm is getting old.
So I am back on the road, at the lovely Wingate in LaGrange, Ga in the middle of no-where. Luckly things stay open past 9pm so we can still eat some grub after work. Granted so far the latest we have worked at the hospital was 7pm but still. I don't sleep well at hotels anymore. I use to love hotel beds because they were better than our mattress at home, but now I am spoiled with the Bob-o-pedic.
While I'm dealing with the rain, MA is dealing with another snow storm. Check out the photo's my mom sent of their house.
The window that is leaking and now the water is frozen
snow, snow and more snow...
